Bloomhill Cancer Care aims to support people diagnosed with cancer to understand the challenges that lie ahead through diagnosis, survivorship or the palliative journey. Bloomhill’s focus is on empowering clients and their families with practical strategies in psychosocial wellbeing, evidence based therapies and clinical advocacy.

Bloomhill Cancer Care Ltd is being funded to deliver the Be Connected Capacity Building grant program as per their supplementary application. This will include building digital literacy skills of 500 Bloomhill volunteers, clients and community members, and utilising their Op Shop network on the Sunshine Coast (QLD). Bloomhill will train 20 volunteers as digital mentors and roll out regular Be Connected training workshops using the Be Connected Topic Library for older Australians.
