Catalyst Foundation

Catalyst Foundation is an inclusive, independent and charitable organisation seeking to improve the lives of all South Australians in the areas of Ageing, Disability, Lifestyle, Employment, Business and Learning.

Project location: Adelaide, SA

Catalyst Foundation is being funded to train 20 volunteer peer educators as digital mentors who will build capacity in a network of community organisations in Adelaide, SA to deliver Be Connected programs. The delivery model of each program will be tailored to meet the needs of the community and may incorporate a combination of one-to-one, group-based and the strength-based "I Can" approach. Their established network of organisations, which includes CALD community groups, people with disability, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and carers aged over 50 years, will be engaged through this project. Through this project, 500 people will be supported to register on the Be Connected Learning Portal.
