Leopold Community Learning Centre is an unfunded not-for-profit community-based organisation. The Centre aims to foster inclusivity, promote life-long learning and provides activities in response to the needs of the local community.

The Technology Tearoom was developed to assist our seniors to build their confidence and competence when using digital devices and going online. Be Connected has enabled us to further develop the tearoom so that our seniors receive one on one assistance with their issues over morning tea and then we help them get on to the Be Connected website to do tutorials the interest them.
We have developed an outreach program to take to our local retirement villages and we have started delivering the Technology tearoom to the Leopold Men’s Shed. We now have two tutors trained to support the program and they are kept very busy!
