Pottsville Beach Neighbourhood Centre Inc. (far-north coast NSW) is being funded to deliver the Be Connected Capacity Building grant program at its fully equipped Technology Centre. PBNC will continue to develop partnerships with stakeholders, such as small organisations and special interest groups, to deliver program elements onsite and offsite in their region, and recruit new Be Connected Network Partners. The ultimate objective is to register 500 digitally excluded older Australians, including those with additional needs through mobility restrictions. This project includes digital mentors facilitating one-on-one sessions with participants, tailoring the program to meet their needs and providing access to a full suite of its technology-based customer services - including an outreach service to homes.
