We are excited to let you know that the Australian Government has funded the extension of Be Connected to June 2021! This is such a positive reflection on the success of the program to date and all the work you are doing to support people to learn new digital skills. So a big congratulations to you!

What does this mean?
This news means we can continue to deliver the Be Connected program including:

  • More grant opportunities to help you to deliver digital skills programs to people over 50 in your community. We will be reopening Be Connected grant rounds in February 2020.
  • More courses coming on the Be Connected Learning Portal developed by our friends at the Office of the eSafety Commissioner.
  • Continuation of our dedicated telephone helpline that supports both Network Partners and learners.
  • More support for your programs through our fantastic Network Team who deliver webinars, develop new digital mentor resources, hold Network Partner events and more.

We hope this piece of good news helps you to plan your digital skills programs for the next year and a half. If you have any questions, thoughts or feedback, please get in touch with us by phone on (02) 9051 9292 or email connect@goodthingsfoundation.org.

Warm regards,
