We’re letting people know about Be Connected

10 June 2020

Good Things Foundation has launched a new digital campaign to let friends and families of older Australians with low digital skills know about the free support available through the Be Connected program.

The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the Be Connected program, encourage conversations with older Australians about getting online, and refer learners to the Be Connected website. It will also highlight the support available through the Be Connected Network.

With COVID-19 social distancing restrictions having been in place around the country for several months now, it’s important that more people know how older Australians can access support through the Be Connected program so they can better connect with friends and family, use online services and get tips on how to stay safe online. We also know that many organisations in the Network were looking for extra support to raise awareness of the program in their community.

We will be releasing new resources that Network Partners can use to join the awareness raising campaign through their social media channels shortly. Subscribe to the Be Connected Network Partner newsletter here or join our Facebook group here for update on the campaign and how you can get involved.
