The Your Health in Your Hands program supports our community to improve their digital health literacy skills and confidence.
Digital health literacy skills are critical to ensure every Australian can make informed, confident choices when supporting their health and wellbeing online. With more and more health services being offered digitally, helping people build these skills opens up options such as seeing a doctor or specialist via telehealth, accessing mental health support, filling prescriptions remotely, and being in control of your own health information.
As part of this program, 20 community organisations in our network in selected regions will deliver localised in-person training and support to people at risk of being left behind. The selected organisations will be located in:
Organisations selected will receive small grant funding, professional development training for Digital Health Mentors, and ready to use resources to deliver this program.
Read the grant guidelines carefully before applying for eligibility requirements, timelines and and questions you need to answer in your application. If you are not selected in this grant round, or not in one of these locations, you can still participate in the program through our series of webinars and virtual support sessions, available for free to anyone in Australia.
Please note: these guidelines are subject to change.
