NSW SLASA

The NSW Spanish and Latin American Association for Social Assistance (NSW SLASA) is a community organisation representing Spanish and Latin American communities in NSW.

Project Location: Sydney, NSW

The NSW Spanish and Latin American Association for Social Assistance (NSW SLASA) is being funded to deliver the Be Connected Capacity Building grant program in the Sydney Metropolitan area by hiring a project worker that will train at least 10 volunteers, provide 1-1 and group training, promote the project and act as ambassador of the network. Trained volunteers will provide training to 500 older Australians from a CALD background and broaden their digital literacy skills. The project will extend across established community groups as well as targeting new organisations, and use Be Connected resources to deliver digital literacy skills training.
