State Library of Queensland

The State Library of Queensland is the leading reference and research library in Queensland. State Library is responsible for collecting and preserving a comprehensive collection of Queensland’s cultural and documentary heritage, providing free access to information for all Queenslanders and for the advancement of public libraries across the State. The object of the Libraries Act 1988 (Qld) is “to contribute to the cultural, social and intellectual development of all Queenslanders”.

State Library of Queensland is being funded to deliver the Be Connected Capacity Building grant program to engage with 500 learners through State Library’s program. The project will include community consultations, and the delivery of a digital skills training program meeting the needs of their community and using the Be Connected Topic Library.
