Workways Australia are successful recipients of funding to deliver the Be Connected Capacity Building project in Far North Queensland, providing digital skills to up to 250 older Australians and marginalised job seekers that will assist them in their job seeking endeavours. Participants of this important program will be provided access to digital equipment and training in a supportive environment that is tailored to individual needs and experience. Job seekers will be taught how to use essential job search tools and government webpages, and will have access to the Be Connected Topic Library. The Workways Be Connected program will be delivered in the Townsville, Cairns, Ingham, Ayr, Charters Towers, Mt Isa, Tully and Innisfail regions.
